VERMILION FORKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

FTE Continuing part-time Grades 5, 6 & 7 Band and Grade 8 to 12 Senior Band teaching position, beginning September 1, 2026.

Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 1:25 to 2:45 pm Grade 5 to 7 Band, 3:30 to 5:00 pm Grade 8 to 12 Band.

Required Qualifications

• Training and experience working with grade-level students.
• Experience with adapting materials, resources, assessments, and learning outcomes for student needs.
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the BC Curriculum.
• Teaching category five or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

• A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.
• Experience/training in supporting the social-emotional learning needs of students.
• Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
