The Salt Spring Centre School - nestled in 70 acres of meadow, forest, and farm on Salt Spring Island - is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a full-time Primary position starting September 2024. We are a certified K-7 independent school delivering BC curriculum with additional focus on small class size, relationship building, creative arts, and exploratory outdoor play. Qualifications

• Hold a valid BC teaching certificate
• Have interest and expertise in K-3 learning
• Have training in Primary literacy and numeracy pedagogy
• Possess an understanding of and commitment to social-emotional learning and youth mental health
• Actively and personally support a caring attitude towards the land and environment
• Have experience working with neurodiversity
