1:1 Teaching Assistant – Brain Injury & Neurological Needs

Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and resilient 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a secondary‑aged pupil with brain injury and neurological difficulties, including challenges around regulation, memory, communication and fatigue. This role is based within a specialist SEND school in Fareham and focuses on providing personalised, consistent support to help the pupil access learning safely, build confidence and develop independence.

You will work closely with teaching staff, therapy teams and medical professionals to ensure the pupil’s needs are met throughout the school day. This includes supporting emotional regulation, monitoring wellbeing, adapting learning tasks and promoting a calm, structured environment.
