The Department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen seeks to appoint a tenure track assistant professor or associate professor to commence 1 February 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The Department of Biomedical Sciences focuses on basic and translational biomedicine, and integration of these topics. Our staff includes graduates in medicine and natural sciences, with interests spanning physiology, biochemistry, anatomy, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. We deliver high-quality, research-based and clinically relevant undergraduate teaching in biomedicine courses, and supervise postgraduate students enrolled in the Graduate School. The Department is supported by a skilled team of laboratory technicians and administrative staff.
