The 1st Shift Forklift Operator at our scrap yard plays a critical role in efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing scrap materials using forklifts. This position requires a focus on safety and accuracy to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport materials around the scrap yard
• Load and unload scrap materials safely and efficiently
• Maintain clear organization of materials to optimize yard space
• Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment
