**Shift Mechanic**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Mechanic to join our growing team. This role involves troubleshooting machine issues, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Troubleshoot machine issues and assist in repairs, including unjamming and rethreading lines, and replacing worn or broken drive belts and bearings.
+ Manage product changeovers to reduce downtime, including changing the sizes of paper across the manufacturing line.
+ Perform general maintenance on machines and other production equipment.
+ Complete required production reports for management using basic computer skills in Excel and Outlook.
