Purpose

To administer compulsory specifications and technical regulations on behalf of the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition by monitoring compliance through inspections and/or evaluations.

Responsibilities Monitor Compliance with Compulsory Specifications and Technical Regulations Apply appropriate sanctions for non‑compliance Process applications for Letters of Certificates, Sales Permits and market surveillance inspections Implement and maintain the NRCS Quality Management System (QMS) Maintain stakeholder relationships Qualification / Experience National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Food Technology or a relevant Food Sciences qualification.
