Job Description

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is seeking an early stage researcher to support the research project ERICA on head and neck cancer research in the BARGO (Badalona Applied Research in Oncology) group at IGTP, in collaboration with the Medical Oncology Service of the ICO Badalona and ViHIT group from IRSICaixa.

Main Responsibilities

• Manipulation of 2D and 3D cultures and cell co-cultures.
• Drug testing.
• Gene expression inhibition.
• Protein analysis by western blot, as well as mRNA expression.
• Performance of high-throughput bioinformatic data analyses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in Bioinformatics, with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology or similar.
• High level of English (minimum B2 level).
• Previous experience in a laboratory of cancer molecular biology.
