Administrative Relationships

• Has direct responsibility to the school principal or designee for performance of delegated functions.
• Works through building administrator with appropriate District Office administrator to implement professional activities and in-service training.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Educational Counseling
• Program planning and adjustment
• Confer with students regarding credit and graduation requirements
• Assist students in making the transition from one school level to another and from one program to another.
• Counsel students and/or parents regarding special programs
• Monitor students’ progress
