JOB DESCRIPTION

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute is seeking a talented and motivated Bioinformatician with prior experience in spatial transcriptomics to perform analysis of several datasets already generated in the Endocrinology Unit. The bioinformatician will work under the supervision of Dr. Joan Gil.

Main Responsibilities

• Processing, analysing, and interpreting spatial transcriptomics datasets generated from acromegaly-associated pituitary tumours.
• Integrating multi-omics datasets including transcriptomic, spatial transcriptomic, genomic, epigenomic, and clinical data.
• Developing and validating predictive models of treatment response using advanced statistical approaches, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
• Implementing and optimising bioinformatics pipelines for high‑throughput sequencing and multi‑omics data analysis.
