$17.00 - $19.41 Status: Open Until Filled This position is the first of three levels within the Parks and Grounds division within the Parks, Recreation and Facilities department that performs semi-skilled or more responsible grounds and landscaping maintenance for city/BLW property. Receives daily work assignments from the division Foreperson. Maintains city/BLW grounds such as cutting grass, raking leaves, tree trimming and removal, weed eradication, trash and brush removal, sod, tree, and flower planting. Repairs graves sites, park benches, playground equipment, and related park facilities.
Paints restrooms benches, and other park facilities as assigned.
Applies fertilizers, pesticides and other chemicals to lawns and plants as assigned.
Notifies Foreperson of maintenance needed for various assigned parks and grounds.
Performs trash control at City Hall, Glover Park, Marietta Square, and other...
