The EHS Co‑op will be working on job assignments related to their functional environmental or safety discipline.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Apply EHS principles that he or she has learned in school to hands‑on situations.
- Work with the hourly workforce to address day‑to‑day safety concerns.
- Create Department Hazard Maps.
- Review Environmental / Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
- Perform Respirator Fit Testing.
- Perform Plant‑wide Hearing Conservation Survey.
- Gather / Research Safety Data for the Safety Department.
- Conduct Confined Space Entry Evaluations.
- Perform Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for various processes and tasks.
- Work on various environmental projects.
