Microbiology and Virology Registrar

We are seeking dedicated Pathology Registrars to join our Microbiology and Virology training program within the Auckland Region.

Responsibilities

• Complete rotations across Auckland City, Starship and Middlemore hospitals.
• Participate in protected off‑floor teaching and on‑floor feedback.
• Engage in Part1 and Part2 College exam preparation and departmental continuing medical education.
• Work with diverse patient demographics and a wide range of pathologies.
• Complete 6‑month rotation runs, with the option to rotate into subsequent runs.

Eligibility and Requirements

• Second year House Officer (PGY‑2) or above.
• Demonstrated academic achievement and interest in pathology.
• Strong interpersonal and team‑working skills.
• Understanding of client‑focused service concepts.
