Position Summary

The successful applicant may teach Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, English 5A, English 5B, English 10, or Linguistics courses, including high‑enrollment general education courses. Candidates should be qualified to teach any of the following: Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, or Linguistics.

Instructor Responsibility

Temporary faculty are responsible for adherence to university and system‑wide policies, as directed in the Academic Policy Manual 306. Responsibilities include preparation, delivery, conduct, proctoring, and grading of lectures, office hours, homework assignments, quizzes, class projects, and midterm and final exams. All classes must be offered and meet as scheduled throughout the semester, in the mode assigned (asynchronous, synchronous, in‑person, or hybrid).
