OPSEU Radiology Technologist Position.

Status: Regular Full Time. Department: General X-Ray/CT Scan. Program: Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Shift schedule: 8 hour shifts days evenings weekends on-call. Location: Lakeridge Health Oshawa & Bowmanville. Wage: $36.84 – $50.24 per hour.

The Technologist is responsible for producing radiographs and computed tomography images with accountability to storing images and recording them as required to complete examinations requested by medical staff in accordance with the procedures set out in appropriate manuals; assisting the Radiologist in the performance of their procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety; maintaining technical competence as required under the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) guidelines and the requirements of the C.A.M.R.T. and/or O.A.M.R.S.; rotation into other radiographic modalities; participation in student/technologist training and completion ...
