Technique is looking for a Powder Coat General Operator to join our team at our Jackson, Michigan facility.

This position reports to the Department Manager in the Powder Coat department.

This role involves a progressive use of various painting techniques including powder coat, wet paint spraying, Cerakote, hydro dip, and other techniques on various materials.

The employee will be responsible for material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, dipping, and masking, and must be committed to safe work practices as defined within company and department-specific safety procedures.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow within a powder coat environment, with a willingness to operate equipment, read blueprints, and follow quality standards.

Experience with lift truck operation or the ability to obtain a license is a plus, along with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality, on-time results.
