**Job Summary**

Assist journeyman in the planning, lay-out, installation, testing and repair of all aspects of substation construction in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

. Use appropriate hand (i e drill, screwdriver) and power tools (i e pipe threader, conduit bender) to properly measure, cut, assemble and install electrical conduits, cable and duct banks . Hand dig ditches and holes . Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit-breaker panels and install grounding leads and pull wire through conduit . Work with high and low voltage systems . Help test continuity of circuits to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using testing instruments, such as ohmmeter,...
