Job Purpose

As an Academic Applications Analyst, you will be responsible for planning and managing the instructional resources, technology solutions, and support services to meet the academic computing services objectives, as well as providing the University of Sharjah community with the means to apply technology to academic and administrative challenges and ensuring ongoing support for effective and efficient data and process operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the instructional technologies and services including the online learning management system (LMS).
• Administer and maintain the LMS (Blackboard) as well as other related instructional technologies and services.
• Advise the Head of Academic Computing Section on adopting and implementing instructional technologies, and explore new technologies to cater to the needs of the learning environment.
