Academic Obstetrician and Gynecologist – West Lincoln Memorial Hospital

We are seeking two full‑time generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologists for WLMH, a newly redeveloped hospital in the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University.

The successful candidates will provide care for low‑risk pregnancies, gynecological care and high‑volume gynecological surgery. They will also provide consultant support for a large group of family physicians and midwives who provide primary care to the community. This is a full‑time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

WLMH has completed redevelopment and is operating a robust maternal‑and‑newborn program with 24/7 hospitalist‑midwife support, a doubled operative capacity and a transition to a Labor/Birth/Recovery/Post‑partum (LBRP) model of care.
