Responsibilities

The incumbent will be required to provide faculty specific academic advising and support to undergraduate students especially those at risk of failing, within the faculty. To monitor academic progress of at-risk students and provide relevant support or refer to relevant support departments.

Minimum Requirements An honours degree in Social Science: psychology or Social Work Two years’ experience in the following areas: Experience working with university students and/or young people. Experience supporting students or young people who face psychosocial and/or academic challenges. Experience working as a tutor, mentor or advisor at a tertiary institution.
