Robert Half Financial Services are hiring for an Accountant role for an Investment firm located in midtown Manhattan New York. Our client requires a CPA and 2+ years Audit experience at a Big 4/Public Accounting firm covering Financial Services industry clients. Must have knowledge of GAAP, Month End Close, Credit/Debit, Cash Reconciliation and Cash Flow Analysis. The role is mainly remote with the ability to come into the midtown Manhattan office as required.


This Accountant role is a generalist position covering a range of duties across corporate accounting, financial reporting, fund accounting, purchase accounting, treasury, and FP& A


Responsibilities:

Corporate & Technical Accounting

+ Execute month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations

+ Assist with acquisition and investment accounting, including identification and tracking of intangibles
