Accountant Position

Your client, an accounting firm, is currently seeking the services of an Accountant to join their offices in Durbanville.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing customer accounts on Xero
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Preparation of month-end and year-end reconciliations
• Liaising with customers regarding their business and assisting them in making financial decisions
• Management of annual audits (where applicable)
• Payroll processing
• Bi-annual employer reconciliations
• Workman’s compensation and RMA submissions
• Calculations of provisional tax and income tax (companies and individuals)
• Submissions of VAT201, EMP201, ITR14, ITR12, IRP6
• Other administrative tasks

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Accounting Degree
• Completed SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA articles
