Description
Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger & Financial Reporting

+ Prepare and post journal entries for multiple funds and accounts.

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.

+ Review financial transactions and ensure accurate account coding.

+ Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

+ Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and reporting packages.
