Accountant Position

An Accountant is needed in Waltloo, Pretoria.

Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is currently seeking an Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis near Waltloo (Pretoria).

Duties:

1. Make sure all journal entries have been approved and processed each month.
2. Ensure all balance sheet accounts and cashbooks have been reconciled monthly.
3. Preparation of the General Ledger up to Trial Balance.
4. Review and approval of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
5. Supervision of relevant staff.
6. Management of the bank accounts and cashbooks on a daily basis.
7. Preparation of the daily bank account movement report and short-term cash flow predictions.
8. Management of the Forex requirements and processing.
9. Maintenance and reconciliation of the Fixed Asset register.
