Job Title: Accountant Key Responsibilities: 1. Accurately post supplier and contractor invoices into the accounting system. 2. Prepare monthly supplier account reconciliation and follow up on any discrepancies to ensure timely resolution. 3. Update and maintain bank book entries for accurate and timely posting. 4. Prepare and book journal entries in accordance with accounting procedures. 5. Support the processing of labour and out-grower payrolls. 6. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax and statutory returns in compliance with regulatory requirements. 7. Compile and maintain Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) files and records. 8. Initiate and process payments through cheques or online banking platforms. 9. Ensure proper filing, archiving, and retrieval of accounting and financial documents. 10.Perform any other accounting or administrative duties as may be assigned from time to time.
