Summary This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Offices of Hearings and Inquiries (OHI), Provider Reimbursement Review Board (PRRB). As a Accountant, GS-0510-14, serves as a team member, leader, or special advisor for/with other accountants, attorneys and the PRRB Board Members and Hearing officers on a variety of accounting, reimbursement, audit, and payment systems of Medicare Contractors. Responsibilities Advises on cost reporting, auditing, and accounting issues related to the Medicare Part A cost report. Trains new staff and Board Members on the cost report process; consult senior level management and OGC on auditing payment issues.
