Accounting Assistant needed for a company in Irvine that manufactures food processing equipment.

Direct Hire position paying $55k - 60k/yr, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus and mileage. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Company has Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and a 401K plan after 90 day probation. NOT a remote or hybrid position.

This position is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of accounts while updating the accounts payable and receivable sub-ledgers.    

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices in Sage 50, prepare payment checks and reports promptly, and handle vendor inquiries.
• Accounts Receivable: Enter sales invoices in Sage 50, distribute invoices, and process daily cash receipts (check, wire, cash).
• Reconciliation & Collection:
