An established manufacturing company in the York area is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant for a temporary assignment. This role is expected to start in August and last approximately 3-6 months.
Job Description:
- Support accounts receivable functions
- Assist with invoice processing and payment posting
- Provide accounts payable support as needed
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with account reconciliations and discrepancy research
- Update vendor and customer account information
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the department
Requirements:
- Prior accounting support experience, ideally in accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, or general accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
