We're hiring a Finance Associate to support the month‑end and year‑end closing of accounts for a Research Institute. This is a hands‑on, execution-focused role. You'll be working in a team, handling journals, reconciliations, grant utilisation entries, and audit support.
What you’ll actually do (day-to-day) - Post and review grant utilisation entries to match grant income with expenses
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing for allocated Research Institutes
- Prepare and follow up on monthly accounting schedules
- Handle intercompany (InterCo) and intracompany (IntraCo) reconciliations
- Support audit fieldwork — respond to auditor queries on selected samples
- Assist in consolidation of accounts for mid‑year and final financial statements
- Ad‑hoc finance tasks as assigned
