Our client in Springfield, Massachusetts is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an organized professional with strong data entry skills, experience supporting accounting operations, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Perform accurate data entry of financial information into accounting systems

+ Reconcile invoices, statements, and general ledger accounts

+ Assist with billing, payment posting, and collections support

+ Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records

+ Support month-end close activities and reporting tasks

+ Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting transactions

+ Assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed
