Job Overview This position is responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements, costing, bookkeeping, and reporting. Accounting managers have several direct reports and allocate tasks evenly across the team.

Hours Consistently average 40 hours per week (9 am–5 pm). Overtime, weekends, and evenings are typically not required.

Responsibilities

Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations

Maintaining the general ledger system

Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable

Reporting risk issues to company management

Preparing and updating weekly cash flow statements

Researching accounting issues for compliance

Managing the budget process

Training, managing, and ensuring career progression for coordinators
