Summary About the position: This position is located at the NAF Accounting Office, 423d Force Support Squadron, RAF Alconbury, United Kingdom. It offers 20 guaranteed hours per week, and the incumbent may be required to work up to 40 hours per week at management's discretion. Responsibilities Performs double-entry accrual accounting work to maintain journals and ledgers. Ensures all deposits from activities are received. Counts balances, and consolidates cash, negotiable instruments, and credit card receipts. Transports deposits to a military banking facility. Operates computerized systems to input accounting data. Resolves discrepancies by applying Air Force regulations and cash management procedures. Maintains the central change fund for squadron cash requirements.
