Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our clients growing finance team based in Dublin. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week. Key Responsibilities Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions Preparing and posting journal entries Bank reconciliations and month-end support Assisting with VAT returns and financial reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation Supporting audits and compliance requirements Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers Requirements 13 years experience in a similar finance or accounts role Relevant accounting qualification (ATI, ACCA part-qualified, or equivalent) desirable Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills
