Description
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing high‑volume accounts payable transactions while delivering excellent customer service to internal departments and external vendors. This role supports the organization’s financial operations by ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely payments, compliance with accounting policies, and proper documentation. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.

Key responsibilities include entering and auditing disbursement transactions within a fully integrated accounts payable system, reviewing invoices for accuracy and required approvals, and processing daily check runs. The position also supports audits, maintains vendor records, reconciles vendor statements, and serves as a primary point of contact for vendor inquiries.
