Position Purpose
The Accounts Payable Clerk works within the Finance team and collaborates with sales and our logistics support team. This position's primary responsibility is to capture and add vendor invoices to our Transportation Management System, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies proactively. The role requires vendor-facing communication skills as well as effective interaction with coworkers and management.
Responsibilities
Work with TMS system and Quickbooks to manage day‐to‐day accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Receive and record cash, checks, and vouchers; reconcile bank account statements.
Handle payroll, make purchases, prepare invoices, and keep track of overdue accounts.
Produce reports, including profit and loss statements, financial statements, and balance sheets.
Keep management informed and up to date through presentations and reports.
