As a Actuary, GS-1510-14, serves as a technical and actuarial expert in modeling Medicare and Medicaid rates and estimates under current law and proposed changes, and analyzes, monitors, and evaluates Medicare Advantage and Part D annual bids in accordance with the Medicare Modernization Act. Responsibilities Develops actuarial models, studies, and analyses for Medicare Part C and Part D cost estimates, rates, policy issues, and program projections. Prepares actuarial data, estimates, and support materials for CMS or HHS notices, Medicare Trustees Reports, and the President’s budget cycle.
