Position Summary

Under general supervision of and in accordance with Clovis Community College and departmentally established practices and expectations, adjunct instructors work collaboratively with other faculty within the College and their discipline to ensure that key concepts of the specific discipline are addressed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Teaching assignments may vary depending on the specific qualifications and expertise of the individual.
• The Instructor will provide students with a complete syllabus containing course outcomes.
• Present well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus.
• Continually promote development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving, assessment, and decision‑making.
