Law 856 Housing Law and Policy Clinic I
USC Gould School of Law is seeking a part-time lecturer to co-teach in the Housing Law and Policy Clinic. This five-unit course supports students in developing valuable lawyering skills, while improving lives and impacting communities through their work. In taking part in the clinic, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the housing crisis— rom institutional injustices to economic factors to ethical considerations. The clinic’s legal work will involve representing indigent tenants and working alongside community-based housing organizations on matters spanning representation, strategic litigation, and policy. The Clinic is a year-long course with a prerequisite/accompanying required course titled Housing Law and Policy that begins in the fall semester.
