UPMC Passavant is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant Intermediate to support our Orthopaedic team at UPMC Passavant McCandless, 9104 Babcock Blvd., Medical T Building, 5th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. This position works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekly travel every Thursday to Advanced Orthopaedics in Washington, PA. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the clinic team by checking out patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, obtaining prior authorizations for surgical and radiology procedures, and acting as the primary referral contact for Dr. Schmidt.
