Position Overview

The below sections outline some of the main duties and responsibilities of the post holder.

Administration Support Welcome patients, relatives and other visitors to clinics providing clear instructions and information regarding their appointments.

Provide help and advice to patients in clinic settings and over the telephone.

Assist with management of office answerphones and action or escalate tasks as appropriate.

Register Patients accurately onto the Patient Administration Systems.

Action and process referrals received via email and the NHS e-referral service.

Book, adjust and cancel patients appointments as required.

Regularly undertake telephone contact to confirm appointments with patients.
