SUMMARY : The Newcomer Information Centres are walk‑in information and referral centres funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and operated by Achēv. NICs provide settlement information and referral for the smooth transition of newcomers to life in Canada.

The Administrative Assistant will provide outstanding customer service to clients and administrative support to the Coordinator and Information Counsellors at Achēv’s Newcomer Information Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist clients at the Front Desk in a professional and friendly manner
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all clients and visitors
  • Answer incoming calls and direct clients to appropriate staff and programs
  • Accurately register eligible clients in OneClient; support clients with self‑registration
