Goal:

The goal of the Clinical Administrative Fellowship is to develop the fellow as a future physician leader by providing an experiential foundation in the administrative, business and operational aspects of Emergency Medicine.



Program Description:

Upon completion, the fellow will:

- Understand methods of business assessment and process improvement

- Understand the financial and operational models of both academic and community-based Emergency Departments

- Experience operations and administrative-based research in Emergency Medicine

- Demonstrate ability to adequately communicate financial and operational information to others

- Understand the science of throughput
