Position Overview

Administrative Officer - School of Social Work
**POSITION DETAILS**
Reporting directly to the Dean, the administrative officer will support various activities and initiatives in the School of Social Work (SSW). Along with the CUNY Title Overview, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Work alongside the Dean to develop and optimize administrative processes and procedures within the department.
+ Serve as the primary resource for faculty and administrators regarding SSW and CUNY’s policies & procedures.
+ Oversee the coordination and planning of staff assignments & staff communications
+ Liaise with ICIT, Facilities, and public safety, to oversee all technology, facilities and security related matters for the Silberman Campus.
+ Manage and oversee the administrative process for recruitment/searches, and faculty tenure and promotion reviews.
