Job Summary

To assist the Director of Nursing with all departmental duties to ensure the facility residents receive safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling and assignment of nursing staff.


• Assist with nursing care on shift, as needed.


• Promote employee satisfaction by providing staff with the opportunity to express their concerns and resolve disputes.


• Assist in the supervision the maintenance of facility medical records.


• Monitor staff compliance with Policy and Procedures and Nursing Practice Protocols (I.e.
  rounding, medication reviews, medication pass rounds, enteral
  feeding/medication pass, etc.)
