**Job Summary:**

+ Serving as a first assistant in the operating room for pediatric neurosurgery procedures
+ Admitting patients to the hospital - either direct admit from an outside hospital or from the ED, performing history and physical exam, patient assessment, ordering appropriate labs, diagnostic studies, and radiology tests, and follow up and formulation of treatment plan of the ordered lab, studies, and tests
+ Some Night/Weekend Service Responsibility
+ Performing necessary emergent and non-emergent procedures in the ICU with hospital privilege after demonstrated competency and according to standardized protocols where applicable
