About the role

This role is based in our Wellington office. The role is not designed for full‑time remote working, although work‑from‑home arrangements may be considered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing advice and support to applicants and delegated decision makers for the import and export of controlled goods (e.g., hazardous waste and ozone‑depleting substances).
• Liaising with submitters, applicants and other government and international agencies on statutory decision making.
• Managing a busy workload of applications, working across a range of legislation and work streams, and contributing to the success of the EPA.
