Knowledge and Skills (Education)

• Strong communicator in English, both written and oral
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High level of time management
• Tool and Die certification and a minimum of 5 years tool room experience in automotive
• Operate all toolroom equipment
• Good understanding of ISO, SPC and QS systems

Major Accountabilities

• Supervise toolmakers and apprentices
• Plan and schedule all tool room jobs as per timeline
• Control all heat treated components from outside suppliers
• Schedule ordering of tooling components and supplies
• Assist Tool Room Manager in product scheduling
• Assist Lead hands in troubleshooting die build problems
