Become an Automation Engineer at Agropur and impact production efficiency in St-Laurent’s dairy operations. This dedicated role focuses on maintaining and optimizing automated systems.
Reporting to the maintenance manager, you will engage in diagnosing automated systems failures and implementing corrective measures. Your responsibilities will also include design, programming, and compliance checks for PLCs and SCADA systems, as well as leading collaborative automation projects with production and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve automation system failures to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with electrical installation standards
• Optimize and program PLCs and SCADA for processes
• Lead automation improvement initiatives using Lean principles
• Document and maintain technical specifications and changes
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or automation engineering
• 3 to 5 years of relevant automation industry experience
