Job Description:
The Navy E-6 is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707 platform The aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire , and in source and transit zone countries. This platform, now modified to the E-6B standard, conveys instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO ("Take Charge And Move Out").
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
Use your thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
