**Description:** Function
 Independently perform a variety of routine assembly, disassembly, and repair duties and/or modification, installation and/or rework assignments on new or model change aircraft under the guidance of higher labor grade mechanics.
Typical Responsibilities
 Follow prescribed procedures and detailed instructions to install, replace or adjust a variety of components, sub-assemblies, and purchased units, etc. on aircraft.
 Typical installations include, but are not limited to; main landing gear, tail cone, tail drive shaft, pylon, tail rotor, service platform, main rotor fairing, instrument and overhead panels, engine cowlings, oil cooler, cyclic pitch controls, cabin and cockpit heater, rescue hoist, cabin or cockpit windows, personnel and cargo doors, pilot and co-pilot seats, transmission fairing, pitch sticks, sound-proofing, batteries, primary servo.
